International Women’s Day at Tighes Hill

George Woods and Alex Morris

On Sunday 8th March a poetry reading was held at the Royal Oak at Tighes Hill in honour of International Women’s Day. It was a wonderful turnout in honour of women and women’s poetry. Many of the readers read other poet’s work in appreciation. George Woods and Alex Morris, the organisers began the readings with selections from poets they admire.
